Computer Delivered IELTS at CES

Before the day of your test, check the start time of your IELTS test and make sure you know how to get to the test venue on time. We recommend doing this a week in advance so you’re fully prepared. Make sure to arrive early to the test venue. If you arrive late to the venue, you may not be permitted to sit the test.

The venue for your computer delivered IELTS exam is located in the city centre. It is located in the Life Plaza Building 15th floor. 734 7 Ave. SW Unit 1520. (CES-SOS).

Lobby entrance is located behind 7th Street SW Train station platform

There is limited on-street parking.

Attractions near The Life Plaza include:
Calgary Tower and Stephen Avenue Walk and Calgary Central Library
The area also offers public spaces like the Prince’s Island Park and Chinatown.
You will find  many restaurants and cafes around friendly downtown Calgary.

 

Test Day Check-list

Don't forget to bring your Identification Document (ID) with you to the test venue. Your ID (Valid Passport, PR Card, Refugee Claimant) approved during registration is required on test day. You will not be allowed to sit the test without this.

Plan to arrive early to the venue. An IELTS staff member will either greet you in the lobby or see you when you go up to the 2nd floor.

Mobile phones, watches or any electronic equipment are not allowed in the test room. There will be clocks in the test room. All candidates must undergo a security screening with the use of a metal detector wand.

Do not take valuable items with you. Personal belongings cannot be taken into the test room. You can only have your ID and a drink in a transparent bottle on your desk.
